Voting Recommendations Handout

This is a voting strategy that we are recommending to limit the effects of vote fraud and election day issues on our elections. We all need to be more involved in our elections.

Sign up with the county to work the election. Having honest, competent people working the election helps prevent fraud. The biggest push back that we get against hand counts is that they don’t have enough people to work the tabulators. Even if it’s just for election day, work the election. You'll even get paid.

If you can’t work the election, consider volunteering as an observer at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC), or at a polling location near your home.

Sign up for the Postal Service program called Informed delivery. Keep an eye out for ballots mailed to you and save all of the images. Compare that to the number of ballots that arrive in the mail. Ballots mailed but not delivered can be used for vote fraud.

THERE WILL BE MASSIVE LINES ON ELECTION DAY 2024!

Why? The ballots will be 3 pages long. Unless you have lots of time on your hands, you should sign up to be on the ABSENTEE VOTING LIST. This is the ballot that comes in the mail in a yellow envelope. There will be a green envelope inside to put your your ballot in. The difference between the Absentee and mail-in ballots is that the Absentee ballot is a verified voter. Get that ballot in your hand and fill it out using black ink.

If you vote before election day:

  • Go to a polling location and use the ICX machine to vote if available

  • Early voters will seal their ballot in a secure envelope that is signed and dated

  • Drop your ballot into the the large blue bin at the polling location

  • As a last resort, mail in your absentee ballot

If you are going to vote on election day:

  • Go early and arrive before 5 pm

  • Keep your absentee ballot handy

  • Verify that the machines are working properly and then get in line

  • Once you check in on a site book, you have to vote the printed ballot OR check-out

  • The best way to sign in is with your drivers license, with your current address

  • If the line stops moving or the machines stop working, you can go to your car, get your ballot and put it in the ballot box no later than 7:00 PM

  • If you leave your location, you will not be allowed in line elsewhere if you arrive after 7:00 PM

  • When you vote, mark your ballot with black ink only or consider using the ICX machines

  • Look at the counter on the tabulator before you put in your ballot. Don't just look for the checkmark. When you insert your ballot, verify that the indicator has increased by one. If it doesn’t increment, file a formal complaint and alert everyone present and in your legislative district

Shred your early voting ballot if you don't use it to vote

Get out the vote!

The more voters we have the harder it is to steal the election.

Be an election worker, run the elections! And get paid to do it.

And if you have the experience, you could be an Inspector and run a polling location.

TOGETHER WE CAN KEEP ELECTIONS FAIR AND FREE!
